Volunteering: At Families for Moore Events

Fundraising and donations are certainly necessary to fulfill our mission of providing micro-grants, but just as important are the genuinely priceless donations of time or talent from our families.

Some examples include:

Attending monthly meetings to share your input and hear from others.
Preparing snacks for Teacher & Staff appreciation events.
Coordinating with local business for fundraisers.
Picking up supplies for micro-grant recipients.
Participating in events like daffodil planting and community cleanup.
And more!

It all makes a difference!

There are a variety of opportunities for families, community members, and students to volunteer at the school. To participate:

Complete the relevant Volunteer Application Form.
After your volunteer application has been approved (may take up to 2 weeks), sign up for one of the following opportunities.

Cafeteria Assistance on Fridays (10:55-12:05)

Lyman Moore is looking for volunteers to help in the cafeteria on Fridays during lunch, from 10:55 to 12:05.

Feed the Teachers During Conferences

Donating food, drinks, materials, or time to help feed the teachers during the parent-teacher conference days is a wonderful way to show support and gratitude for all that the teachers and staff do for our children and our community.
